Candy lei DIY project: Step-by-step
Time needed: 25 minutes.
Make a candy lei to celebrate your graduate! Personalize it with these easy to follow steps!
- You’ll need:
– Your Grad’s Favorite Candies
– Plastic Cling Wrap (about 4 feet)
– Clear Tape
- Lay out cling wrap & place candies on it.
Lay your cling wrap on a flat surface and place your candies in the center, about 1-2 inches apart. You can use wrapped candy or loose candy and create a design with it.
- Fold cling wrap sides over candy.
Fold one side of the cling wrap over the center of the candy. Repeat with the other side of cling wrap.
- Pinch & twist each section.
Pinch and twist the cling wrap in between each candy section.
- Tape each section.
Place tape over each twisted section to hold the candy in place.
- Join the ends with tape.
Connect the two ends of the lei together with tape.
- Tie bows over each taped section.
Tie ribbon pieces into bows over each taped section.
- Give to your grad!
